Assembler 1st Shift | Full-Time |
Temp-to-Hire Whitewater, WI Pay:
$18.00 per hour Co-Staff Corp is currently hiring Assemblers for a manufacturing company located in Whitewater, WI . This is a great opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined , enjoy hands-on work, and are looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent hire. This position is temp-to-hire , with opportunities for direct hire based on performance, attendance, and business needs. Candidates with backgrounds in assembly, construction, manufacturing, automotive, maintenance, carpentry, or other mechanical trades are encouraged to apply. Schedule 1st
Shift:
6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday Overtime as needed Responsibilities Assemble products, components, and subassemblies according to work instructions and specifications. Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly operations. Route wiring, cables, and harnesses as required. Read and follow work instructions and assembly drawings. Take measurements using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices. Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met. Operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment as needed. Assist with material handling, shipping, and receiving when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn assembly processes. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to follow written work instructions. Blueprint reading experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and work in various positions throughout a 10-hour shift. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
