Assembler

Safely, accurately, and efficiently complete final assembly of tractors and attachments, lawn mowing equipment, snow plows, and ice melt equipment to meet customer demand.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

Perform specific duties related to final assembly. Perform rework on units if/when needed. Check the quality of completed units and confirm they are equipped to customer's requests and submit completed checklists. Drive completed units to staging area.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Assemble show tractors and attachments, lawn equipment, snow plowing, and ice control equipment and repair damaged inventory when necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING

High School Diploma or equivalent

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

Experience with hand tools, including air driven tools. Experience with driving fork lifts is a plus. Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, effectively identify/handle objects and stand for extended periods oftime. Requires sufficient visual acuity/dexterity/coordination to safely and efficiently operate machinery. The position will require walking, standing, stooping, and bending.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Performance of the duties of this job will expose the person to potential hazards including, noise, chemicals, paints, fuels, dust, heat, moving parts and operation of mechanical or electrical equipment. The position may require walking, standing, stooping and transporting materials or parts on a regular basis.
