Overview No two jobs are ever the same. Mull Group is hiring an experienced Assembler/Millwright for our Valley Machine facility in Martins Ferry, Ohio. We are not a production shop. You will not stand at the same station building the same part every day. We tear down, rebuild, machine, weld, and fabricate the heavy equipment that keeps the steel mills, mines, power plants, and factories in this region running — the kind of work that takes real mechanical skill and a head for problem-solving. If you like taking a gearbox apart to find out why it failed, setting a shaft to the thousandth, and seeing a piece of machinery leave the floor better than it came in, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Assemble and disassemble heavy industrial machinery and equipment Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly prints Perform precision fitting, alignment, and installation of bearings, shafts, gears, couplings, bushings, and hydraulic components Rebuild gearboxes, rolling mill equipment, pumps, rolls, and other heavy industrial machinery Work alongside machinists, welders, fabricators, and supervisors to complete projects safely and on schedule Operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment safely Perform field service work at customer facilities when required Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment What You Bring Experience as a millwright or heavy industrial assembler is preferred — but for the right person with the right attitude, we will train you through our apprenticeship program Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting instincts Ability to read mechanical prints and work with minimal supervision Experience with precision measuring instruments Welding, torch cutting, or fabrication experience is a plus Forklift, overhead crane, and rigging experience preferred Dependability, a safety-first mindset, and pride in doing the job right What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience Steady full-time work with overtime opportunities Health insurance and retirement benefits Paid holidays and vacation Challenging repair and rebuild projects that change week to week — never repetitive production work A third-generation, family-owned company that has been building things in the Ohio Valley since 1961 Apply Today If you're a millwright or industrial assembler looking for work that actually keeps you interested, we'd like to hear from you.
