What they do
A Manufacturing Project Manager maintains relations between the manufacturing company and the clients to which it sells and distributes. They manage a variety of accounts and projects; they also assess new build plans, assess various procedures in the production process, and maintain an open line of communication with vendors and clients. The project manager works with the company's customers directly to assess and help meet their needs. In addition, the project manager has responsibilities in the direct manufacturing facility. They ensure that safety guidelines are met and any potential risks are eliminated.

Job Description
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of related experience, including progressively responsible work managing projects involving mechanical manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities (machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, integration) Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW clearance (Secret/TS/TS‑SCI as required by contract) Experience working with cross‑functional teams and multiple stakeholders Experience estimating labor and materials for manufacturing projects Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical instructions Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated knowledge of production planning and quality control principles in an AS9100 environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) or comparable project‑management software Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyPreferred Qualifications:
DoW aerospace and defense hardware experience PMP certification or equivalent project‑management certification Engineering or technical background Deltek Costpoint experience Supplier management experience Experience with ERP/MRP systemsSchedule:
