The goal was, and still is, to provide a high quality, durable cabinet that would stand up to a lifetime of use and look good while doing it. We use glues and staples to assemble just the way custom cabinets are. This Built To Order approach allows us to assemble the products onsite and ensures proper assembly and a quality finished product. Our products are manufactured and warehoused in Tempe, Arizona. We finish and assemble in our own facility. We offer quality construction cabinetry that doesn't break the budget. Our all wood products are of the highest quality and we offer an array of beautiful styles and finishes. We now we have almost 100 unique finish and door style combinations.

Chandler, Arizona Full job description We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing and assembly of cabinets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, optimizing processes to achieve the highest level of efficiency and productivity, and leading a team of assembly technicians. This role requires a hands-on candidate with a strong background in precision manufacturing, production management, communication and leadership. Production Management & Operations Oversee and manage the end-to-end production process of cabinets, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to achieve production goals. Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to meet production goals. Monitor and maintain production KPIs, including yield, quality, efficiency, productivity, and failure rates. Collaborate with Engineering to smoothly transition new products and engineering change orders into production. Manage production documentation, keep accurate records, and maintain traceability of products produced. Ensure production work instructions are kept up to date and adhere to the work instruction development, review and approval process and procedures. Process Optimization & Quality Control Maintain strict adherence to quality control standards and production process procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with engineering teams to implement production improvements to improve efficiency, productivity, reduce waste, and enhance cost-effectiveness. Work closely with the manufacturing engineering team to enforce maintenance schedules and ensure equipment functions properly for uninterrupted production. Establish production metrics, collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and generate reports with recommendations for management. Team Leadership & Workforce Management Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production staff. Assign daily tasks to production staff and oversee cross-training and job rotations to enhance team skills. Review employee performance, provide guidance, and escalate personnel issues to HR when necessary. Collaborate with the Operations Manager in hiring, training, evaluating, and, when required, terminating employees. Troubleshooting & Technical Support Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions, escalating unresolved problems when necessary. Develop contingency plans for equipment failures, supply chain disruptions, and other unforeseen issues. Inventory & Supply Chain Management Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of subassemblies and finished goods to support business activity. Collaborate with purchasing to mitigate supplier-related disruptions and ensure smooth production workflows. Compliance & Workplace Safety Uphold workplace safety and ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures. Ensure staff compliance with HR policies and procedures. Communication & Reporting Prepare and present production reports and updates to senior management. Communicate effectively with upper management regarding production challenges and propose resolutions. Work with sales, service, and engineering teams to streamline feedback on product performance and address post-sales issues. Technical Knowledge & Innovation Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of cabinetry, assembly, and testing procedures. Stay updated on the latest advancements in manufacturing technology to optimize production processes. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in production management; cabinet manufacturing is a plus Proven experience in process optimization; knowledge of manufacturing best practices, methodologies and equipment. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing a production team. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, production planning, and inventory control. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication, organizational and project management skills. Knowledge of OSHA standards.

Schedule:

50 hour work week Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays if overtime is needed to get back to on time.
