Production Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Production Manager. This role is based at our plant in Kingman, Arizona and reports to the Plant Manager. Job Summary The Production Manager will lead all aspects of production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance. They will collaborate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Health & Safety, and other cross-functional teams to meet production objectives while supporting the growth and development of their team. Principal Responsibilities Lead daily production operations to safely deliver customer requirements while optimizing productivity, quality, inventory levels, labor utilization, and manufacturing costs. Drive operational excellence through production planning, performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction. Analyze production metrics, downtime, and operational results to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and environmental, health, and safety requirements, while championing a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Oversee the management of raw materials, packaging materials, regrind, and non-hazardous waste in accordance with facility procedures. Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and plant employees through performance management, training, succession planning, talent development, and recruitment activities. Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, HSE, and other cross-functional teams to achieve production objectives and improve operational performance. Lead and sustain initiatives such as Lean manufacturing practices and 5S programs to maintain an organized, efficient, and high-performing workplace. Manage departmental budgets and expenditures and provide operational reporting to support business decisions. Qualifications & Experience Completion of college and/or university in engineering or manufacturing or equivalent experience 5 years of progressive production leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ability to manage priorities and deliver results Proven experience leading teams, developing talent, managing employee relations, and influencing organizational performance Solid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing; Six Sigma experience is considered an asset Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, quality systems, performance management, and resource allocation Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) and good general computer skills.
