Plant Manager Posted on October 27, 2025 October 27, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to lead all aspects of plant operations, including production, safety, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to ensure that all production goals are achieved efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Position Responsibilities Operational Leadership Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production schedules, safety standards, and quality objectives are consistently met. Implement and manage strategies that drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize productivity. Lead cross-functional collaboration among departments such as engineering, quality, logistics, and maintenance. Ensure that all operations align with company goals and comply with regulatory requirements. Safety and Environmental Stewardship Champion workplace safety by promoting best practices and enforcing compliance with safety and environmental standards. Maintain and enhance EHS programs to ensure a zero-incident culture. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. People Management and Development Lead, mentor, and develop plant leadership teams and staff to foster professional growth and high performance. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure appropriate staffing levels and succession planning to support business objectives. Financial and Resource Management Develop and manage the plant's annual budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Monitor financial performance, implement cost-control measures, and achieve productivity targets. Oversee capital projects and equipment investments to support long-term operational goals. Continuous Improvement and Strategic Planning Drive process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance plant performance and product quality. Support company-wide strategic initiatives and contribute to long-term operational planning. Prerequisites Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field required. 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a plant management role. Proven success in managing large-scale operations and cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification OSHA Safety Certification PMP (Project Management Professional) What the Role Offers Competitive salary range of $180,000 - $230,000 annually, depending on experience.
