The Opportunity Reporting to the COO, the Plant Manager owns all manufacturing operations at DSM's Arizona operations, championing Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to exceed client expectations while driving profitability and growth. Responsibilities Lead cross-functional teams including, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to drive manufacturing excellence. Champion the development of a Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement culture Deliver outstanding customer service through high-quality products and on-time delivery Develop and motivate a team of functional manufacturing leaders Contribute significantly to the development and execution of the company's manufacturing strategic plan Sit as a member of the company's senior leadership team Ensure the plant consistently hits its targets and financial objectives Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring manufacturing and shipping schedules are met Build a sustainable organization focused on continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost Build a strong, collaborative relationship with the sales team Stay current on market and industry trends that could affect the business Lead OH&S activities across the facility Qualifications Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline Extensive hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Experience in a high-tech or electronics-based manufacturing environment preferred 10+ years of operational leadership experience, managing 100+ direct and indirect staff across multiple manufacturing departments Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities Who You Are You thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing and scaling environments You're passionate about building strategic projects that drive performance and process development You lead with safety, quality, and productivity front of mind You're a strong communicator who connects with a diverse workforce at every level You're energized by learning, understanding, and reshaping processes to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence You're detail-oriented with a growth mindset You're a go-getter who motivates teams to make meaningful change You apply Lean/Six Sigma principles in your everyday work, and thrive on building an environment that's efficient and consistent
Pay:
