Pen Manufacturing is a prominent player in the sheet metal, machining and welding fabrication industry, renowned for delivering precision-engineered solutions. We are a fast growing and fast paced manufacturing company focused on Water Infrastructure, Roads/Bridges, Aerospace and many more industries. The Plant Manager at Pen Manufacturing is responsible for leading daily plant operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and workforce performance. This role focuses on operational execution, team leadership, and continuous improvement within the facility. You will oversee production, maintenance, staffing, and plant performance while collaborating with cross-functional partners to support company goals. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day plant operations, including safety programs, production flow, maintenance, and workforce management. Manage hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for plant personnel. Develop supervisors and frontline leaders to strengthen plant capability and succession pipelines. Monitor KPIs and conduct operational reviews to identify improvement opportunities. Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput. Partner with engineering, supply chain, quality, HR, and finance to support production needs and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Support capacity planning and operational readiness for new products or equipment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 5+ years of manufacturing experience with 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of plant operations, safety, and production management. Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement. Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze performance metrics. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
