$150-180k/yr.

Shift:

1st shift, with flexibility required to provide coverage for 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing Operations to lead a high-volume, USDA-regulated food manufacturing operation. This position will oversee production, labor, food safety, quality, sanitation, maintenance coordination, cost control, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive experience in USDA/FSIS-regulated cooked, prepared, refrigerated, or ready-to-eat (RTE) food manufacturing. Responsibilities & Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing. Bachelor's degree preferred; extensive relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree. Senior leadership experience as a Plant Manager, Director of Operations, Director of Manufacturing, General Manager, or similar role. USDA/FSIS-regulated food manufacturing experience required. Cooked, prepared, refrigerated, value-added, or RTE food experience strongly preferred. Lead daily production operations across multiple lines and shifts. Manage and develop Production Managers, Supervisors, Leads, and hourly employees. Ensure compliance with USDA/FSIS, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, sanitation, food safety, and safety requirements. Improve productivity, labor efficiency, throughput, yield, waste, downtime, OEE, quality, and production costs. Establish and monitor KPIs and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Manage staffing, labor planning, overtime, budgets, and manufacturing costs. Lead Lean, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with Quality, Food Safety, Sanitation, Maintenance, HR, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams. Support USDA inspections, audits, traceability, and corrective actions. Experience with ERP/MRP manufacturing systems preferred. HACCP certification required or must be obtained upon hire. Lean, Six Sigma, SQF, BRCGS, or similar training is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
