Full Job Description Experience:
Manager Salary:
$120,000•$140,000 per year Job Details•Must Have Qualifications 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience. Experience leading a manufacturing facility or major production operation with approximately 150-300 employees. Strong background in precision metal fabrication, sheet metal manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or similar industrial manufacturing. Direct experience overseeing cutting operations (laser, turret punch, waterjet, plasma, or similar fabrication processes). Experience managing paint or powder coating operations. Proven success leading production managers and supervisors in a multi-department manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience managing production KPIs including safety, quality, productivity, scrap, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery. Ability to lead cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain. Strong financial and operational business acumen. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience working within ISO 9001, AS9100, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments. Nice to Have Aerospace, defense, medical device, semiconductor, or advanced industrial manufacturing experience. Experience in high-mix, low-volume contract manufacturing. Experience with robotic manufacturing equipment and manufacturing automation. Background in CNC machining, welding, fabrication, or precision assembly. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience implementing ERP-driven production planning and scheduling. Knowledge of ITAR compliance. Multi-site manufacturing leadership experience. Experience leading significant operational transformation or plant expansion initiatives. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an operational leader who has successfully managed complex precision manufacturing operations and understands how cutting, fabrication, powder coating, and downstream production processes interact. They are highly visible on the production floor, data-driven in decision-making, and passionate about building strong teams while improving safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. This individual has a proven history of developing leaders, driving Lean initiatives, and creating a culture of accountability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
