8+ years in CNC Machining, 3+ years in Leadership/management/supervisor role management production teams of 10 or more people, GD&T, CAD/CAM, Aerospace defense or medical device manufacturing industry exp (AS9100/ISO9001) Position Overview A growing precision manufacturing company serving aerospace, defense, space, and medical industries is seeking an experienced Machine Shop Manager to lead daily operations across a multi-shift CNC machining environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving production performance, developing teams, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong CNC machining background combined with proven experience leading manufacturing teams in a high-precision environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of machinists, operators, and technical staff across multiple shifts Manage production schedules, capacity planning, staffing, and throughput Drive key metrics including on-time delivery, machine utilization, scrap reduction, and labor efficiency Ensure compliance with AS9100 and

ISO 9001

quality standards Partner with Engineering, Quality, Programming, and Scheduling teams to support production goals Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives Promote a safe, accountable, and high-performance manufacturing culture Qualifications 8+ years of CNC machining experience 3+ years of leadership experience managing production teams of 10+ employees Experience overseeing multi-machine, multi-shift manufacturing operations Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, GD&T, inspection methods, and precision manufacturing Working knowledge of AS9100 and

ISO 9001
