Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Plant Manager to lead our food manufacturing facility. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety compliance are maintained at the highest levels. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in manufacturing management, process improvement methodologies, and supply chain coordination. As Plant Manager, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize production schedules, and foster a culture of excellence across cross-functional teams. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering operational excellence and supporting the company's growth objectives. Responsibilities Oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet output targets efficiently. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency and reduce waste. Manage production management systems such as
SAP, ERP
systems, and manufacturing management software to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting. Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, quality control, and safety enhancements. Analyze production data using tools like Microsoft Excel to identify trends, forecast needs, and support supply chain analytics. Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and delivery of finished goods. Maintain compliance with food safety standards and quality assurance protocols to uphold product integrity. Foster a collaborative environment by promoting effective communication across departments including quality assurance, maintenance, logistics, and procurement. Develop operational budgets, monitor performance metrics, and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet business objectives. Drive a culture of lean management and operational excellence throughout the facility. Requirements Proven experience in production management within the food manufacturing industry or similar manufacturing sectors. Strong knowledge of manufacturing management systems (Material Requirements Planning), ERP systems, and production scheduling tools. Expertise in lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma certification is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through team leadership and cross-functional communication skills. Proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel for process improvement insights. Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and supply chain analytics. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives. Knowledge of quality control standards relevant to food manufacturing environments. Bachelor's degree highly preferred.I Pay:
