plant management team, the Plant Manager has responsibility for ensuring reliable, cost-effective, profitable operations while meeting or exceeding safety, environmental, and quality standards.Job Details Role Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading the plant's Operations, Maintenance and Engineering personnel in safely operating the plant, while meeting production, quality, safety, and environmental goals. Operate the plant within approved fixed and variable budget plans. Track period costs and material and energy usage. Reconcile spending and usage to plan. Assist in preparation of the plant's period and capital plans Lead the implementation and introduction of new projects and facilities in the plant. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and operating problems with existing and newly implemented processes to ensure compliance with specific regulatory, quality, economic and production requirements Ensure that the plant is operated within regulatory and permit limits, and in compliance with all plant policies and procedures Ensure that employees are properly trained in these areas and the proper records and documentation are maintained Responsible for preparation of reports, tracking raw material and energy usage, production volumes, shipping, inventories, and other variables used to measure the facility's performance Actively work to develop personnel, to maintain a positive working environment, to resolve personnel conflicts, and to serve as sounding board for others Leads and directs managers, engineers, professionals, and administrative employees Drives profitability through control and leveraging of manufacturing costs, inventory, cost of goods, procurement initiatives, and vendor relationships, and use of automation Drives continuous improvement and operational management processes Leads long term and short term planning, as well as execution of the annual capital plan Drives improvement with regard to the plant equipment and other mechanical and electrical systems All other duties as assignedCompliance:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering .Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years' experience in direct chemical production or plant management, with a strong emphasis on applying engineering skills to process operations.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated strong leadership, coaching, communication, and planning skills Effective interpersonal, verbal/written communication, presentation and report writing skills Strong analytical skills Strong chemical and process engineering knowledge and skills Knowledge of standard budgeting and cost control techniques and have the ability to learn software packages quickly as required Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations Ability to oversee large programs like Capital and make necessary evaluations and course changes Experience working with distributed control systems and the implementation, including configuration, of Honeywell or Delta V systems would be a strong plus.
