Job Description

PROGRAM MANAGER

MANUFACTURING
We are an aerospace company that been forming and fabricating a broad range of aluminum, steel and exotic components for the aerospace, defense, and commercial communities. With the largest collection of stretch forming equipment worldwide and a dedicated staff averaging 30 years of experience, we are proud to service these industries as a best value supplier of choice. We are seeking a responsible, hard-working individual, with strong verbal and written communication skills, who can comfortably coordinate and manage customer accounts and projects as Program Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Good communication skills: written, and verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be able to problem solve and think quickly
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and managerial skills to operate effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Exceptional relationship building
  • Proficiency using PC including Excel and Word
  • Previous experience in project management required
  • College diploma or equivalent
  • Aerospace experience highly preferred Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Communicate with customers via emails and/or phone with follow up w/email daily and respond to their request and provide updates/status on their projects
  • Weekly conference calls & updates with certain customers followed by emailed minutes
  • Knowledge and ease of use with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets as well as other Microsoft programs
  • Review and compare all your orders entered in JobBoss (MRP System), with our inked ECD (Excel Spreadsheet): o Verify customer due dates o Qty's o Pricing
  • Any issues or questions pertaining to an order, email customer immediately for resolution. Follow up until resolved
  • Update status of each order daily in JobBoss with (ECD dates for each operation)
  • Send "Action Items" to each person/process needed for a particular part that needs to be completed each day
  • Project monthly forecast at the beginning of each month: o Update forecast at the beginning of each week, to see what is remaining o Get ready to ship orders to Quality to make cert packages, then provide to shipping when complete
  • Shop walks to oversee your orders running and make sure they are moving
  • Candidate must be able to review and recognize details on customer
DRAWINGS, PARTS
LIST or other documents
  • Plan/Engineer work order routing (Scope of work) for each job operations
  • Make sure your orders have customer provided material or make sure the order is being placed and in a timely manner to accommodate lead time of PO
  • Validate tooling and make sure it's usable to manufacture a part per PO requirements
  • Find solutions and make problems smaller
