Job Description
TRIUMPH designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs and overhauls a broad portfolio of aviation and industrial components, accessories, subassemblies, systems and aircraft structures. - from single components, to complex systems, to aerospace structures and their contents. We provide solutions for the entire product life cycle of an aircraft
- from raw material to aftermarket service.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for the site's planning, materials control, and materials support activities, in alignment with the Site General Manager (GM) and OpCo leadership team
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve processes and procedures that ensure the effectiveness of planning, inventory control functions, including o master scheduling o Kan Ban systems o Shop-floor throughput/scheduling o Capacity planning o Production scheduling
- Establish priorities, provide direction, and ensure accountability for functional managers and their respective teams.
- Champions business process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall site performance.
- Establish, monitor, and utilize KPIs and performance metrics to measure team effectiveness and drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partners with Site Leadership Team to establish, communicate, and execute site level strategic and operational objectives, including: o Annual budgets and business planning o Establish and enforcement of site-level policies, procedures, and operational practices o Achievement of operational and financial performance objectives.
- Serve as strategic adjunct to Site General Manager, supporting broader site leadership responsibilities and developing a strong succession trajectory for future leadership opportunities.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Procurement, and other disciplines to ensure alignment of materials and planning activities with overall business objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the organization. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in a technical field, business, supply chain, operations, engineering or related discipline, with a minimum of 10+ years progressive professional experience, including significant experience in a management or leadership position.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 15+ years of relevant professional experience in a management or leadership position may be accepted in lieu of bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 15 years directly related experience in product or process management within a manufacturing environment required.
- Demonstrated expertise with MRP/ERP systems, including experience with system functionality, implementation, optimization, and process integration.
- Proven ability to think strategically and while executing tactically, balancing long-term business objectives with immediate operational requirements.
- Expert level of Microsoft Office competencies with strong Excel knowledge
- Strong leadership communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate ability to solve problems effectively under constraints and competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and balance operational financial, quality, inventory, and customer delivery objectives.
- Demonstrate ability to lead change, drive continuous improvement, and hold teams accountable for measurable results. Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Aerospace industry experience required
- APICS certification strongly preferred
Salary:
$127,200- 185,000 plus bonus
