The floor manager will supervise production employees, coordinate workflow, monitor productivity and quality, enforce safety procedures, and address operational issues on the manufacturing floor. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of manufacturing employees. Ensure employees follow company policies, safety rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor production schedules and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. Assign work and provide directions to employees throughout the shift. Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, breaks, and overall performance. Inspect production areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and safe. Monitor product quality and ensure materials are handled and processed correctly. Identify production problems and work with management to resolve them. Ensure inventory and production information is entered accurately into the company system. Train employees in proper procedures, equipment use, and workplace safety. Communicate production updates, problems, and employee concerns to management. Conduct or assist with employee coaching and disciplinary actions when necessary. Help maintain adequate staffing and production efficiency. Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with workplace safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage and motivate employees. Ability to enforce company policies and procedures consistently. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills and ability to use production/inventory software. Ability to read and understand written procedures and safety instructions. Must be Bilingual. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while working on the manufacturing floor. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials as required. Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, materials, and normal factory noise. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
