Job Description

Our client, an innovative leader in sustainable energy and waste management, is seeking a Sr. Plant Manager to join their team. As a Sr. Plant Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
Up to $170,000 What's the Job? Lead the commissioning and operational setup of the plant, ensuring a safe and timely launch. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and local authorities to facilitate factory and site acceptance testing. Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and maintenance schedules to optimize plant performance. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing operational team focused on safety, accountability, and excellence. Manage daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and regulatory compliance are met. What's Needed? 6+ years of experience in process manufacturing or heavy industry, with at least 3 years managing teams and full accountability for a plant or production area. Experience commissioning and starting up new plants or major production lines. Background in thermal or bulk-solids processing environments such as pyrolysis, gasification, biomass power, or similar. Proven track record of safety management and implementing effective EHS programs. Strong leadership skills with experience building and maintaining preventive maintenance programs and managing uptime targets. What's in it for me?
