The project manager works with the company's customers directly to assess and help meet their needs. In addition, the project manager has responsibilities in the direct manufacturing facility. They ensure that safety guidelines are met and any potential risks are eliminated.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and highly organized Manufacturing Engineer / Project Manager to oversee customer projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for a go-getter who enjoys working directly with customers, managing multiple priorities, and keeping projects moving forward in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. For immediate consideration, send resume to t d e l g a d o@appleone.com. Must have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field. Must know blueprints, engineering drawings and be outgoing - able to manage 40-50 customers. Strong Excel, ERP systems knowledge. The ideal candidate will be comfortable juggling approximately 40-50 customer projects at various stages, each with different timelines, priorities, and customer needs. Some projects may be highly complex, while others require more hands-on customer communication and coordination. Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage customer projects from initial communication through completion and shipment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and the company
  • Communicate proactively and professionally with customers regarding project status, timelines, and needs
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Learn and understand customer plans, requirements, and project objectives
  • Coordinate internally to help ensure machines and projects are completed and shipped as quickly as possible
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Manage projects of varying size and complexity
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer service Qualifications
  • Manufacturing or project management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
  • Ability to manage both high-maintenance and low-maintenance customers effectively
