A Manufacturing Project Manager maintains relations between the manufacturing company and the clients to which it sells and distributes. They manage a variety of accounts and projects; they also assess new build plans, assess various procedures in the production process, and maintain an open line of communication with vendors and clients. The project manager works with the company's customers directly to assess and help meet their needs. In addition, the project manager has responsibilities in the direct manufacturing facility. They ensure that safety guidelines are met and any potential risks are eliminated.

Job Description
- Own and manage customer projects from initial communication through completion and shipment
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and the company
- Communicate proactively and professionally with customers regarding project status, timelines, and needs
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Learn and understand customer plans, requirements, and project objectives
- Coordinate internally to help ensure machines and projects are completed and shipped as quickly as possible
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Manage projects of varying size and complexity
- Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer service Qualifications
- Manufacturing or project management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
- Ability to manage both high-maintenance and low-maintenance customers effectively
