Tree Nuts, LLC is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our pistachio and almond processing facility in Turlock, California. The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing production, employees, equipment, food safety, quality, maintenance coordination, and overall plant efficiency. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is comfortable working directly with the production team and understands the demands of a fast-paced food or agricultural processing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage daily pistachio and almond processing and production operations. Supervise production employees, leads, and supervisors. Plan production schedules and ensure customer orders are completed on time. Monitor production output, product quality, yields, labor, and downtime. Ensure compliance with SQF, FDA, food safety, sanitation, and company quality requirements. Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Office teams. Coordinate preventative maintenance and respond to equipment or production issues. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, product recovery, labor utilization, and plant performance. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Train, develop, and hold employees accountable to company standards. Assist management with operational planning, equipment improvements, and continuous improvement projects. Qualifications Previous plant management, production management, or operations management experience. Experience in food processing, nut processing, agriculture, or a related manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Strong leadership and employee-management skills. Understanding of food safety, sanitation, quality control, and production procedures. Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues. Strong organizational and communication skills. Comfortable working on the production floor and taking a hands-on approach to plant operations. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Compensation:
Competitive and based on experience.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
