Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Training Lead to join our manufacturing team in Vernon, CA. This position will lead daily training activities, provide hands-on and classroom instruction, evaluate employee skills, and help ensure employees are properly trained and qualified to perform their jobs safely and effectively. What You'll Do Coordinate and manage daily training activities. Provide classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training. Train employees on manufacturing processes. Conduct forklift and overhead crane certification training. Administer employee certifications and recertifications. Evaluate employee skills and qualifications. Maintain accurate training and certification records. Support new-hire onboarding and employee development. Work with EHS to ensure safety training requirements are met. Provide guidance and direction to Training Technicians. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 5+ years of manufacturing experience. 2+ years of leadership, mentoring, or training experience. Experience providing hands-on training and evaluating employee skills. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes. Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills. Ability to evaluate employee competency. Strong organization and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree preferred. Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience preferred. Physical & Work Environment Frequent standing and walking. Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Ability to wear required PPE. Ability to work throughout manufacturing areas. Combination of office and manufacturing environments. May be exposed to industrial equipment, noise, heat, and active production areas. Why Join Us?
