Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the extrusion process, including planning, scheduling, and execution to meet production targets. Utilize MRP systems such as Accumatica and other manufacturing management systems to monitor production workflows, inventory levels, and supply chain activities. Implement process improvements using methodologies like Six Sigma and lean management to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Develop and maintain production schedules through effective supply chain management and demand forecasting. Oversee quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and industry standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data from Excel-based reports, supply chain analytics, and production metrics. Lead cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality assurance, procurement, and operations to foster collaboration and achieve operational excellence. Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably with extrusion or plastics processing. Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), ERP systems, and manufacturing management software. Demonstrated expertise in process improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and lean management principles. Proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel for reporting and decision-making purposes. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Ability to communicate effectively across departments to facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with supply chain management practices including logistics coordination and inventory control. Strong understanding of quality control standards within a manufacturing setting.
