Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a fast-paced environment. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for transforming and advancing plant operations through Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and team development . The Plant Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, employee engagement, and overall plant performance. The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with a hands-on management style and has a proven track record of building high-performing manufacturing organizations. Key Responsibilities Lead the continued development of a high-performing Lean Manufacturing operation , implementing sustainable process improvements across the plant. Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and employee engagement . Establish and monitor performance metrics and balanced scorecards aligned with financial and operational goals. Lead, coach, develop, and retain a multidisciplinary manufacturing team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, procedures, equipment, workflows, and execution strategies. Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure production objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and within budget. Partner with supply chain and other support functions to identify efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve customer delivery. Contribute to plant budgeting and maintain accountability for financial and operational performance. Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, customers, vendors, and other key stakeholders. Support project pursuits through production-hour estimating, constructability reviews, and risk analysis . Partner with senior manufacturing leadership on strategic and tactical initiatives related to project manufacturing and execution. Ensure appropriate manufacturing processes, hazard analyses, safety procedures, and operational standards are established and followed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management/Science, Business Administration, or a related field . 10+ years of manufacturing management experience . Minimum 5 years of Lean Manufacturing experience . Demonstrated P&L and budget management experience . Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and change management . Proven success leading, developing, and retaining high-performing teams. Strong financial, operational, and analytical capabilities. Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable results. Hands-on leadership style with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills. Results-oriented with a strong focus on accountability, process excellence, and operational performance. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving manufacturing environment. Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
