We want to see what you have actually implemented and the measurable results. Greeley, Colorado — Steel Fabrication Plant Manager Our Greeley operation is primarily a steel fabrication manufacturing facility with limited integration work. The ideal candidate has experience leading fabrication operations involving processes such as: Structural steel fabrication Welding and fitting Cutting, sawing, forming, and material preparation Production flow and work-center management AWS/quality-controlled fabrication Material handling and kitting Production scheduling Labor planning and utilization Equipment uptime and maintenance Quality, rework, and NCR reduction Shop-floor productivity and throughput We want someone who understands how to take a fabrication operation and make it safer, more predictable, more productive, and more profitable. Commerce City, Colorado — Integration Plant Manager Our Commerce City facility is a dedicated electrical and mechanical integration and testing operation. This is not primarily a steel fabrication facility. The Plant Manager will lead an operation focused on: Electrical integration and assembly Mechanical integration and assembly Equipment installation Electrical and mechanical testing Factory integration and testing Production-line and station flow Material kitting and point-of-use delivery Quality control and inspection Test documentation and closeout Labor planning and utilization Production scheduling and On-Time Delivery Coordination between engineering, supply chain, quality, and production Experience with electrical equipment, mechanical systems, modular manufacturing, industrial integration, data centers, power systems, or similar complex equipment integration is highly desirable. Lean Experience — Show Us, Don't Tell Us For both positions , Lean Manufacturing experience is mandatory. We are not looking for candidates who simply say: "I worked in a Lean environment." We want specific examples of what YOU personally changed.
Be prepared to explain:
What was the problem? What did you change? How did you implement it? What was the measurable result?Examples could include implementing:

Lean certificates are valuable. Demonstrated results are more important. Full P&L Experience Required These are not production-supervisor positions. Each Plant Manager is expected to understand and manage their operation as a business. Candidates must have demonstrated experience with full manufacturing P&L responsibility , including: Revenue and production forecasts Direct and indirect labor Labor efficiency and utilization Material costs Manufacturing overhead Scrap and rework Inventory and WIP Capital expenditures Budget vs. actual performance Job costing Gross margin Plant profitability The Plant Manager must understand how decisions made on the manufacturing floor ultimately affect cost, margin, cash flow, and profitability. What Success Looks Like A successful Plant Manager should be able to walk into the operation and answer: Are we safe? Are we building it right? Are we on schedule? Are we hitting our labor targets? Do we have the material we need? Where is the bottleneck? What is today's recovery plan? Are we making money? If you need three meetings and a spreadsheet from someone else to answer those questions, this probably isn't the right position.
