The Team A&M's Infrastructure & Capital Projects (INFRA) practice is a global team of over 1,000 sector experts and specialized consultants. We combine strategic and operational expertise with deep technical knowledge to support developers, sponsors, lenders, and project leaders in selecting, structuring, improving, and executing capital projects more efficiently and sustainably. Our team serves clients across a wide range of industries, including energy, manufacturing, mining, transportation, real estate, and the public sector (state, local, federal, and education). Within the public sector, we specialize in delivering solutions across four key areas of infrastructure: capital projects, real estate/real property, capital assets/equipment, and fleet management. We are seeking a Director to join our INFRA practice, with a specific focus on serving Public Sector Services (PSS) clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that address critical infrastructure challenges, improve operational efficiency, and deliver value to public sector stakeholders. How you will contribute Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory:
Advise clients on strategic and operational aspects of infrastructure, including portfolio optimization, workplace strategy, facilities management, and lifecycle management of capital assets and fleet.Project & Team Management:
Lead and motivate client engagement teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing budgets, monitoring progress, and mitigating risks.Client Engagement Leadership:
Take ownership of client engagements, leading teams to deliver exceptional results while fostering innovation and ensuring alignment with client objectives.Business Development:
Cultivate business development opportunities by identifying new ways to serve clients, developing proposals, and building long-term client relationships.Innovative Solutions:
Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and market competitiveness for infrastructure projects.Technology Integration:
Leverage tech-enabled solutions such as AI, automation, and advanced analytics to deliver transformational strategies for infrastructure and corporate real estate.Data-Driven Insights:
Use data analytics and technology to create actionable insights and value for clients, driving measurable outcomes.Relationship Building:
Foster relationships with external clients and internal teams, serving as a connector to bring in the right subject matter expertise and resources.Strategic Problem Solving:
Synthesize complex and nuanced information into actionable recommendations, strategies, and plans that drive measurable outcomes for clients.Internal Collaboration:
Support internal administrative efforts, including resource management, pipeline tracking, invoicing, and other project-level tasks, to ensure operational efficiency. Skills and CompetenciesPublic Sector Acumen:
Deep understanding of PSS agency operations, procurement processes, and regulatory environments, particularly in the areas of capital projects, real estate, capital assets, and fleet management.Commercial Mindset:

Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to synthesize data and drive strategic decision-making.Qualifications Education:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Construction, Construction Management, Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, or Business. Advanced degrees in related fields are preferred.Experience:
- Extensive experience in construction, construction management, capital projects, corporate real estate, management consulting, or workplace consulting.
- Proven track record in business development and the successful delivery of strategic projects, including identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and building long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale capital projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and operations, with a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives.
- Experience in construction project lifecycle management, including feasibility studies, cost estimation, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Knowledge of corporate real estate operating models, organizational design, and outsourcing strategies, with the ability to align real estate and infrastructure portfolios with organizational goals.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and delivery methods, such as Design-Build, CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk), and Public-Private Partnerships (P3).
- Experience in capital planning and budgeting for infrastructure projects, including Federal and public sector initiatives.
- Expertise in project controls, including scheduling, cost management, and performance tracking for capital projects and construction initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as project management tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
Security Clearance:
- Candidate must either possess an active security clearance or have the ability to obtain one, as required for working with clients.
Attributes:
