A Production Plant Manager directs work and resources needed for a manufacturing production process. Plans and manages production work that meets cost, quality and quantity specifications for a company or project.
Monday-Friday, typically 6:00am-5:00pm (occasional Saturdays as needed to support production,maintenance, or operational requirements); exact hours may vary based on business needs. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead all manufacturing operations at Tampa Bay Bottling, our beverage manufacturing facility in Dade City, Florida. Tampa Bay Bottling produces Tropical Fantasy juice cocktails for our customer and sister company, Brooklyn Bottling. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing production efficiency, ensuring food safety and quality standards, and developing a high-performing operations team. The facility operates a single high-speed production line producing PET-bottled juice cocktails and utilizes in-house PET bottle blow molding (manufacturing its own bottles), requiring a leader with extensive hands-on experience in high-speed manufacturing, filling operations, and bottle manufacturing. The Plant Manager will oversee production, maintenance, quality assurance, warehouse, engineering, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring customer expectations are consistently exceeded. Key Responsibilties Provide overall leadership for daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, engineering, quality assurance, sanitation, warehouse, and shipping. Manage a high-speed beverage filling operation producing PET-bottled Tropical Fantasy juice cocktails on the facility's single production line, operating Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Managing an overall team of 20 associates. Oversee in-house PET bottle blow molding operations, ensuring efficient bottle production to support manufacturing schedules. Drive production efficiencies while meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Preferred Experience Experience in private label or contract beverage manufacturing. Background producing bottled water, juices, teas, sports drinks, energy drinks, carbonated beverages, or other ready-to-drink products. Experience with highly automated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with bottle blow molding systems such as Sidel, Krones, KHS, SIPA, or similar equipment. Experience maintaining SQF, BRC, or
FSSC 22000
food safety certifications a plus. Qualifications No specific degree required — we're looking for a highly capable leader. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent hands-on experience is equally valued. 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience. Minimum of 5 years as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Manufacturing Manager within the beverage manufacturing industry. Required management/supervisory experience, along with hands-on experience in high-speed manufacturing and filling operations

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
