Based in Hollywood, FL, Sintavia, LLC designs and additively manufactures critical components for the Aerospace, Defense, & Space industry. We are seeking a career-minded individual for the position of Additive Manufacturing Technician, preferably someone who is looking for long-term growth and potential. Summary:
Sintavia is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and career-minded Additive Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our additive manufacturing production environment. The AM Operations Manager will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely execution of additive manufacturing operations, including machine scheduling, production planning, personnel management, powder management, quality, maintenance coordination, and overall production performance. This position will provide leadership to additive manufacturing technicians and operators while working closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure production requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of metal additive manufacturing, excellent leadership and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a demonstrated ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and balancing strategic operational responsibilities with hands-on technical problem solving. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities are essential.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage daily additive manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules, quality requirements, and company objectives are achieved. Manage, coach, train, and develop additive manufacturing personnel, including establishing work schedules, assigning projects, monitoring performance, and supporting employee development. Develop and maintain production schedules for additive manufacturing equipment based on customer requirements, machine capacity, material availability, and production priorities. Coordinate machine utilization and maximize equipment uptime, throughput, and overall operational efficiency. Oversee setup, operation, monitoring, and daily maintenance activities associated with additive manufacturing equipment. Ensure employees follow established procedures, work instructions, methods, and sequences of operations. Establish and maintain standardized operating procedures and best practices for additive manufacturing operations. Monitor production performance and establish appropriate metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), including throughput, machine utilization, yield, downtime, scrap, and on-time delivery. Identify production bottlenecks, equipment issues, process deficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Work collaboratively with Engineering and Quality to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure proper handling, storage, sieving, sampling, loading, recovery, and disposal of metal additive manufacturing powders. Maintain complete traceability of all powders, builds, parts, materials, and production records. Ensure accurate recording of material information, serial numbers, lot numbers, machine information, build information, and other production data critical to product traceability. Ensure compliance with FOD prevention, housekeeping, safety, and environmental requirements. Ensure strict adherence to appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe operating practices. Ensure technicians properly utilize precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gage pins, height gages, dial indicators, and precision scales. Ensure production personnel perform appropriate self-inspection and maintain a strong attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process. Coordinate preventative maintenance activities and work with Maintenance and Engineering personnel to minimize equipment downtime. Support installation, qualification, validation, and implementation of new additive manufacturing equipment and processes. Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment. Support capacity planning, staffing requirements, capital equipment planning, and operational growth initiatives. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. Utilize manufacturing data to identify trends, improve processes, and support management decision-making. Maintain accurate production documentation, records, and reports. Assist with investigations related to nonconforming material, equipment failures, process deviations, and production delays. Ensure timely communication of production status, issues, risks, and resource requirements to senior management. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Program Management. Support customer requirements and priorities while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of additive manufacturing personnel. Ensure adequate staffing and coverage to meet production requirements. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
The AM Operations Manager will provide direct leadership and oversight to additive manufacturing personnel and will be responsible for: Daily workforce planning and staffing. Shift and schedule development. Work assignment and prioritization. Employee training and qualification. Performance management and development. Production accountability. Safety and procedural compliance. Communication of operational priorities. Development of team members for increased responsibility. Maintaining a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, operations, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, with significant experience in metal additive manufacturing. Previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment required. Strong understanding of metal additive manufacturing processes and production workflows. Experience with additive manufacturing equipment and associated powder handling processes. Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical manufacturing personnel. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixturing, and post-processing. Aerospace, Defense, or Space manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Experience working within AS9100 or other highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage small- to medium-sized projects. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Ability to identify potential problems before they impact production and take appropriate action. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to learn new technologies, equipment, and processes quickly. Highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Willingness to assist wherever needed to ensure company goals and customer commitments are achieved. Strong time-management and organizational skills.TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Bachelor's or associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related technical field. Metal additive manufacturing experience. Aerospace, Defense, or Space industry experience. Experience with nickel-based alloys. Experience with AS9100 or other aerospace quality systems. Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience. Experience implementing continuous improvement programs. Experience managing production teams in a high-mix, high-complexity manufacturing environment.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequently required to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods. Frequently required to move throughout a manufacturing facility. Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, inspect components, and use a computer. Frequently required to lift, push, or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. May be required to lift, load, and unload material canisters weighing upwards of 50 pounds from floor level to overhead shelving. Work around specialized additive manufacturing and post-processing equipment. Work with metal powders and manufacturing materials in accordance with established safety procedures.
