Job Description

Job Summary VMG Truck & Trailer Corp. is seeking an organized, safety-conscious, and driven Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our off-site facility in Kissimmee, FL. You will be responsible for managing production, ensuring strict compliance with on-site security regulations, and tracking daily metrics. Because this is a hands-on environment, active forklift experience is required.
Key Responsibilities Daily Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day workflow, scheduling, and team productivity for your assigned shift.
Data & Reporting:
Accurately track and report daily data regarding completed work, inventory, and operational metrics to corporate headquarters.
Compliance & Security:
Ensure all team members strictly abide by the third-party regulations and security protocols required by the host facility.
Safety Leadership:
Maintain a zero-accident culture by enforcing safety standards and leading by example.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a plant, warehouse, or industrial environment.
Equipment:
Active, hands-on forklift experience is required.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in the pallet industry is a major bonus, though not required.
Skills:
Strong communication, basic data entry/reporting skills, and a sharp eye for operational efficiency.
Compliance:
Ability to pass third-party security screenings and adapt to strict facility rules.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
