The Engineering Project Manager, who directly reports to the Senior Manufacturing Maintenance Engineering Manager, provides efficient and effective engineering and project management leadership across all Publix manufacturing facilities. This includes guiding manufacturing plant engineers and managers to improve asset productivity, minimizing shrink, increasing associate productivity and safety, implementing capital projects, and providing engineering solutions for replacement, capacity, and improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include:
engineering, designing, directing, coordinating and managing the planning, equipment suppliers, equipment purchasing contracts, fabrication, installation, integration, execution and the ultimate completion of capital projects developing and maintaining engineering specifications and documentation manages multiple projects and coordinates internal and external resources evaluates project risks and provides project status updates as needed works closely with Manufacturing Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Information Technology (IT) and Manufacturing Logistics Planning (MLP) as required with specific projects
