Job Description
## Standard Job Description You will be a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Senior Manager and Deputy to the Ocala Operations site. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures, and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA, and dozens of foreign allies. What You Will Be Doing As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Senior Manager and Deputy to Ocala Operations, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of all Ocala products. All Ocala Mission Area Managers will report to this Senior Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing product management
- Utilizing financial management skills
- Maintaining customer engagement
- Coordinating with multiple programs, sites, and functions to deliver product, implement best practices, and business processes for the site ## Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Proven Leadership Skills
- Proven project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines & production demands in a complex and dynamic union manufacturing environment
- Proven experience developing business strategies and tactical plans to achieve production objectives: cost, quality, schedule, financial
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing to include Continuous Improvement efforts for cost reduction and performance improvement
- Strong Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain a Secret DOD Clearance
- Prior Production Operations experience manufacturing circuit card, and cable and harness assemblies ## Desired Skills
- Experience with Missiles and Fire Control Programs
- Lean/Six Sigma Processes (Black or Green Belt Preferred)
- CAM Trained
- Active DOD Clearance
