Job Description

A growing manufacturing organization in the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead plant operations and support continued growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can improve execution, build accountability, develop leaders, and ensure people, equipment, and resources are being used effectively. The Manufacturing Manager will oversee operational performance and partner with senior leadership to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production plans, customer commitments, and business priorities. Hold leaders and employees accountable for safety, attendance, quality, performance expectations, and execution of daily priorities. Improve labor and equipment utilization by monitoring capacity, workflow, staffing, downtime, and production output. Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to productivity, utilization, efficiency, quality, overtime, scrap, rework, and on-time delivery. Identify operational bottlenecks and lead practical recovery plans when output or delivery commitments are at risk. Address recurring performance issues promptly and escalate significant trends to senior leadership as appropriate. Support staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce planning to meet production needs. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and other support functions to resolve issues affecting production. Drive continuous-improvement efforts focused on workflow, standard work, setup reduction, safety, throughput, and cost. Ensure accurate production, labor, material, and downtime reporting within company systems. Create a visible, accountable, results-driven culture across the operation. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations experience. 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including leadership of supervisors, managers, or multiple functional teams. Demonstrated success improving productivity, capacity, labor and equipment utilization, quality, cost, and on-time delivery. Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing KPIs, workforce management, and continuous improvement.
Pay:
From $150,000.00 per year
