Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing facility to new heights of operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize our office and manufacturing processes, and foster a high-performance team environment. Duties Lead and coordinate all plant operations, including office, production management, supply chain logistics, quality control, and maintenance activities. Develop and implement production schedules utilizing our GlassTrax ERP systems while minimizing waste. Drive continuous improvement initiative strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Manage production planning and scheduling to ensure optimal resource utilization and on-time delivery. Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the facility. Analyze manufacturing data using Excel data analysis tools and supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for efficiency gains. Foster cross-functional communication among teams to streamline operations. Skills Extensive experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a focus on process optimization. Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing management systems for planning and reporting. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, lean management, and continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated leadership in team management, cross-functional collaboration, and operations oversight. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Ability to implement process improvements that enhance quality control and operational efficiency. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with multiple departments across the plant.
