Job Description

Overview A Plant Manager oversees every part of a plant's operations. A Plant Manager assists with drivers, monitors inventory, approves time for payroll weekly, batches the loads of concrete into the mixer trucks, and ensures the plant is running at optimum levels. The Plant Manager would also handle the drivers' needs and the payments being returned to the plants for processing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily activities of the production of ready-mix concrete and batching operations
  • Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
  • Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
  • Monitor inventory of raw materials and coordinate deliveries
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Train, and supervise production staff, batch operators, drivers, and maintenance personnel
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in production, heavy manufacturing, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of production tools and equipment
  • Strong understanding of concrete materials, mixing processes, and quality requirements
  • Knowledge of
OSHA/MSHA
regulations and industrial safety practices
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Computer skills (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Physical & Work Environment
  • Availability for early morning shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends
  • Ability to work in outdoor/industrial environments with exposure to dust, noise, heat, and heavy machinery
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate plant areas safely.

Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
