344718 ) Description Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.Responsibilities:
- Lead Operations strategy, aligning priorities with business objectives and ensuring reliable, high-quality operational performance across the organization.
- Direct end-to-end GSE manufacturing operations with full accountability for safety, quality, production execution, labor productivity, inventory performance, and cost management
- Develop and implement strategic operational initiatives that enhance manufacturing efficiency, expand production capacity, drive Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvements, improve productivity and quality, and support profitable growth while ensuring achievement of customer delivery, cost and business performance objectives.
- Develop and execute Capital Expenditure and Long-Range Planning initiatives supporting manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering, insourcing strategies, and new product introductions.
- Support manufacturing modernization initiatives through the implementation of advanced technologies, process improvements, and operational best practices.
- Champion safety, compliance, and risk mitigation efforts across operations and manufacturing functions.
- Manage financial performance through budgeting, cost control, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver year-over-year cost savings.
- Lead vendor and contract management activities to ensure performance, accountability, and optimization of key operational service agreements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic business initiatives, operational efficiency, and organizational growth.
- Foster talent development by supporting career path planning, management of performance objectives, engagement, training, and onboarding of new hires.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.Years of Experience:
10 or more years in manufacturing or operations management required.Software Knowledge:
Microsoft Office Applications, (ERP) Enterprise Resource Planning experience required; SAP, Inventory Management System experience required.Additional Requirements:
Experience in Lean Manufacturing required.
