Job Description

Overview:
The Module Production Manager is responsible for the leadership and guidance of the Module Production Department, including operating budget, ensuring compliance with and enforcing policies, implementing corrective actions, leading cost reduction efforts, maintaining personnel headcount, and evaluating Team Member performance. MOBIS Corporate Center America will be aiding in the hiring progress for this job position.
Responsibilities:
(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) Plan short and long term objectives for manufacturing ensure the objectives are properly administered. Prepare and plan operational annual budgets for the department. Ensure compliance with TS16949 objectives. Prepare and administer capacity and labor planning annually. Coordinate Continuous Improvement teams to achieve department goals in productivity improvement, quality improvement and safety goals. Coordinate corrective action planning to ensure root cause analysis and proper implementation. Direct departmental managers ensuring company objectives are attained. Prepare and administer onsite cost reduction efforts. Oversee and provide counseling on appropriate progressive discipline per company policy. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental goals meeting OSHA standards. Ensure departmental compliance to all company policies, procedures, plant rules, and safety rules. Initiate reporting systems to monitor departmental performance. Minimize overtime for all assigned employees. Maintain personnel headcount according to business plan. Plan and conduct continuous improvement training of Supervision and Technical personnel assigned. Conduct annual evaluations (MBO) of Management personnel. Comply with and promote safety in the workplace, to include attendance at safety meetings as well as conduct safety meetings when necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned.

This role operates within defined corporate policies and procedures and exercises judgment appropriate to its level of responsibility. The position may influence decisions related to functional operations, processes, or recommendations and escalate matters as required

Required Education & Experience:
B degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field 8 or more years of related experience in a complex and diversified high volume manufacturing environment within the automotive industry 6 or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proven leadership skills Strong interpersonal skills in problem solving and conflict resolution Must be an effective communicator with the ability to motivate subordinates Strong ability to take decisive action in a fast-paced environment Must possess computer skills that include
Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint Preferred Education & Experience:
Automotive assembly experience

70% office, 30% production floor, some walking within and between buildings
