Job Description:

Plant Manager Food Manufacturing | Growth Environment | Omaha Area Some Plant Manager roles are about maintaining stability. This one is about helping build what comes next. We're partnered with a growing food manufacturing business looking for a Plant Manager to help lead a facility with significant growth capacity, strong leadership support, and genuine opportunity to scale alongside the organization. The business is performing well commercially, believes strongly in the quality of its products, and is now looking to strengthen operational leadership as it enters its next phase of growth. They are intentionally open to someone earlier in their Plant Manager journey - potentially an Operations Manager, Production Manager, or emerging site leader ready for a bigger platform.

What matters most:

Food manufacturing experience Strong floor presence Ability to bring structure and accountability Comfort operating in a changing environment Leadership style that develops people rather than manages from a distance The facility itself is in excellent condition with substantial available capacity and strong sanitation standards already in place. This is not a turnaround environment.

The role will involve:

Leading day-to-day plant operations Driving operational consistency and execution Supporting production growth Developing frontline leadership capability Partnering across operations, supply chain, commercial, and leadership teams Helping create scalable operational rhythms as the business grows The environment suits someone practical, hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working within a business that still has an entrepreneurial feel.

Refrigerated foods Dairy Plant-based manufacturing Perishable food production Smaller or mid-sized food manufacturing businesses

Compensation:
