Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Meat Division Plant Manager to lead our meat processing facility with energy, precision, and a passion for excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize supply chain management, and foster a culture of teamwork and innovation. Responsibilities Lead and manage all daily operations of the meat processing plant, including production scheduling, quality control, and equipment maintenance. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles. Oversee production management systems such as
SAP, ERP
systems, and MRP to coordinate inventory control, order fulfillment, and supply chain logistics. Develop and execute strategic plans for process improvement using data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel and supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for optimization. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety standards, and quality assurance protocols across all departments. Foster cross-functional communication among teams including production staff, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain personnel to ensure seamless operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions aligned with lean management practices. Lead team development efforts by providing coaching, training in manufacturing management systems, mechanical knowledge application, and leadership development. Experience Proven track record in manufacturing management within the food processing and meat production industry. Extensive experience in production management systems such as SAP or ERP platforms; proficiency in MRP is highly desirable. Strong background in lean manufacturing principles. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to manufacturing equipment used in meat processing facilities. Skilled in data analysis using Microsoft Excel for operational insights and decision-making purposes. Pay:
$75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
