Munie Greencare Professionals is seeking a Production Manager who will work closely with key business executives and stakeholders, ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety First:
Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring all work aligns with safety policies and health standards.
Team Performance:
Enhance team performance through training, coaching, and motivation.
Equipment Management:
Oversee equipment use, maintenance, and life cycle.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement and solutions to boost production.
Issue Resolution:
Address customer and employee satisfaction issues swiftly and effectively.
Ethical Standards:
Uphold high ethical standards and comply with all laws and regulations.
Operational Efficiency:
Collaborate with Operations Manager for production schedule and productivity goals.
Leadership:
Lead and direct the team, setting clear productivity goals and expectations.
Quality Control:
Monitor and inspect work frequently to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Collaboration:
Communicate regularly and work closely with account managers to ensure work is being completed to exceed customer's expectations.
Reporting:
Keep Operations Manager and account managers informed of potential issues.
Staff Management:
Manage crews and ensure team members have the proper training and tools to perform their jobs.
Tool and Material Management:
Oversee small tool accountability and materials management.
Work Conditions/Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, and sit unassisted for up to 12 hours per day. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to work 50-65 hours per week during peak season.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Proven management experience with excellent communication skills, capable of influencing at all levels. Experience in delivering client-centric solutions and managing multiple projects with keen attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Basic understanding of plant disorders and potential mechanical difficulties. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of general estimating procedures.
