Aerospace, Defense & Precision Manufacturing Role Summary Randstad USA is seeking an experienced NDT Production Manager / Level III to lead NDT operations supporting critical aerospace, aircraft, space, and defense components. This role combines hands-on NDT technical expertise with production leadership, employee development, quality, delivery, and financial responsibility.

Key Responsibilities Lead NDT production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and profitability goals Train, examine, and certify NDT Level I and Level II technicians Establish and approve NDT techniques, procedures, and test methods Interpret codes, standards, specifications, and customer requirements Support MT, PT, and RT inspection methods Maintain compliance with

AS9100D, NADCAP, FAA, ISO

9001, customer, and regulatory requirements Review work orders, processing techniques, certifications, and technical documentation Support internal, customer, and quality audits Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement initiatives Manage staffing, training, scheduling, labor, materials, and department KPIs Prepare and manage department budgets and capital expenditure ROI requests Work directly with customers, suppliers, Operations, and Quality teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience 5+ years of NDT experience ASNT Level III certification in MT, PT, and RT, OR Level II with ability and drive to obtain Level III within 12 months 5+ years of successful leadership experience managing direct labor teams in aerospace or job-shop manufacturing strong knowledge of NDT codes, specifications, procedures, and quality systems strong production leadership, problem-solving, and process improvement skills Microsoft Office proficiency Must meet

Create and lead a team of people who are cross trained, process focused and skilled to produce quality product that meets customer specifications. Create a culture of inclusion, respect, and accountability. Interacts with customers and suppliers.

Training:

responsible for the training, examination and certification of NDT Level I, II, and II technicians in certified disciplines.

Quality:

Provide direct support to customers when needed. Provide auditing support to quality department and customers.

Delivery:

Drive innovation and process improvement to meet or exceed corporate goals/KPIs or customer requirements. Determine root cause for actions that fall short of KPIs and deploy counter measures to correct.

Inventory:

Provide feedback to purchasing team so that proper levels of coatings are maintained. Ensure proper rotation of products with expiration.

Gross Profit:

Manage labor and materials to meet or exceed corporate goals. Process ROIs for capital expenditures. Maintain proper usage of equipment.
