Job Duties Works with management to create and update budgets, as well as track actual expenditures for multiple areas. Observes procedures and reviews audit checklists to ensure compliance with safety. Provides feedback to warehouse management on: department operations, appearance of department, quality of product, performance of department, and meat plant P&L. Reviews financial reports, verifies results, and investigates discrepancies. Prepares weekly reports for various departments. Reviews capitalization expenditures to order equipment based on production. Identifies and recommends opportunities to drive business to the Warehouse Manager. Assists location and/or corporate management with budgets and updates. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position. Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials. Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery. Assists with department duties as necessary. Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
