Wichita, KS (On-site)Position Responsibilities:
Implements fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans bycoordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams. Knowledge to develop tooling, interchangeability, replacement, andfunctional test plans. Using the established manufacturing process flow, defines sequences of events, develops text and graphics working structions, manufacturing data sets, tooling requirements, and manufacturing bills of material. Communicates with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts. Coordinates change incorporation, optimizes processes, addresses producibility issues, production & post-production problems. Has the ability to demonstrate configuration control of the hardware, within the manufacturing build plan. Abilityto apply process knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems and Structures. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of related experience or 4+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship) Successful candidates must be able to secure Program access approval Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active DoD Security Clearance Technical Degree Clarification and enhancement of existing build plans to promote standardization and ease of understanding Frequent interaction with internal personnel in the manufacturing environment and occasionally with inter-organizational personnel and external customers Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models Creation and publication of manufacturing graphics Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially with Excel Strong knowledge ofSAP CATIA / ENOVIA 3DX
Understanding of the master scheduling requirements Ability to take a project from start to finish Willingness to work cross-functionally Ability to apply process knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal,Systems and Structures Union:
