Job Description:
Ready to lead a manufacturing operation where safety, performance, and people all matter? Our client, a respected wood products manufacturer, is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day production operations while driving operational excellence and team performance. What You'll Be Doing This role will oversee all aspects of plant operations, including safety, production, quality, yield improvement, employee engagement, and housekeeping standards. You'll lead production teams, partner closely with maintenance, purchasing, sales, and leadership teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. This is a highly visible leadership role focused on creating a safe, accountable, and high-performing culture while meeting production goals and customer expectations. What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a high-volume environment, leading teams of 120 or more
  • Experience leading production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge with the ability to improve processes and reduce waste
  • Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills
  • Experience with hardwood and/or softwood product manufacturing
