6+ Months On Site Work Job ref# 247975 Position Summary The Preservation Lead is responsible for leading maintenance and preservation activities within a Preservation and Maintenance Facility (PMF). This role requires a strong background in maintenance, organizational management, HSSE implementation, and deepwater oil and gas equipment. The Preservation Lead will oversee materials management processes, systems, and ongoing preservation activities while ensuring equipment and materials are properly maintained. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to implement new activities and processes within a large, independent organization. Key Responsibilities Manage personnel and ensure training and development of Preservation and Maintenance contract personnel. Responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental safeguarding (HSSE) in conjunction with the PMF Site Manager. Lead JSEAs for all maintenance activities. Manage all activities required to maintain the PMF facility, PMF equipment, and items stored at the facility. Plan and schedule work orders related to federal, state, local, OSHA, and other regulatory compliance requirements. Facilitate the creation and approval of preservation maintenance job plans for asset-owned equipment. Manage third-party personnel working onsite, including HSE, supervision, and quality of work. Plan, schedule, and reconcile all work orders. Assess equipment upon arrival to identify maintenance needs and communicate with equipment owners to maintain a "fit for use" condition. Coordinate rental of special material-handling equipment required to complete preservation and maintenance activities. Work proactively with item owners to identify scrap, surplus, and obsolete items. Communicate service levels to customers through a KPI program. Participate in annual planning and objective setting for the PMF team. Lead and promote the identification and implementation of innovation opportunities. Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by the PMF Site Supervisor. Required Qualifications Experience 10 years of experience in a leadership role related to preservation and maintenance of oilfield materials. 5 years of experience managing people and demonstrating an understanding of building and leading a diverse workforce. 5+ years working with systems and materials such as offshore platform operations, drilling rigs, wellheads, and subsea equipment to ensure knowledge of preserving and maintaining materials. Experience working with third-party service providers for facility upkeep and preservation of materials. Experience managing performance using metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and performance reviews. Skills Exceptional skills in Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental safeguarding (HSSE). Skilled in the use of IT tools and desktop software applications. Exceptional skills in developing processes and procedures. Strong behavioral skills, including bias toward performance, business awareness, leadership and influencing people, partnership and teamwork, business decision-making, creativity, and innovation. Sound financial understanding, including familiarity with economic analysis, financial decision-making, planning, and financial statement analysis. Proven strategic planning and analytical troubleshooting/problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with facility management systems.
