Production Manager Confidential Boston, MA Job Details Full-time $103,000 - $130,000 a year 23 hours ago Qualifications Manufacturing management Full Job Description Salary Range for this role is $103,000 - $130,000 based off experience and qualifications A growing manufacturer in the greater Boston area is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-performing production team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, meeting production targets, and maintaining high quality and safety standards within a designated production area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization. The Production Manager will partner closely with production leadership and cross-functional teams while coaching and developing staff to drive performance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of production associates to ensure smooth operations and achievement of production targets Assign tasks based on team members' skills to maximize efficiency and workflow Train incoming team leads on the D365 Production Module and ensure proper system utilization Provide training on standard operating procedures and safety protocols for new employees Monitor team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and development support Ensure accurate transaction processing in D365 to prevent inventory discrepancies Oversee completion and consolidation of batch orders in D365 (RAF) Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality control metrics Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance for timely resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and resolve operational challenges Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity Perform additional duties as needed Qualifications Proven leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Solid understanding of production operations and workflow optimization Experience with inventory management and maintaining accurate stock records Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Familiarity with D365 or similar ERP systems preferred Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
Pay:
$103,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
