Fully onsite We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal operations. This position will manage customer-facing projects involving engineering change orders, new product introductions, product-quality concerns, and delivery commitments. The ideal candidate has experience managing projects within a manufacturing, industrial automation, or engineered-products environment and is comfortable coordinating multiple departments to keep projects on schedule.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary interface between customers, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Production. Translate customer expectations into clear project plans and action items. Manage engineering change orders, new product introductions, and quality-related projects. Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and recovery plans. Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and delivery commitments. Proactively communicate schedule changes, risks, and project status to customers. Track projects using Kanban metrics or similar visual workflow tools. Lead customer and internal project-status meetings. Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned. Support continuous-improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, an analytical discipline, or a related field. At least three years of project-management experience. Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or an engineered-products environment. Experience with engineering changes, new product introductions, quality issues, or product launches. Strong customer-service and customer-facing communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Experience coordinating Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Production, and supplier teams. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Microsoft Project or Planner experience is preferred. Kanban or visual workflow-management experience is preferred. Must be able to work fully onsite in Franklin, MA. Must be prepared to interview and begin the position quickly. GRPA Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
