Production Manager Apply Now Job Description:
Location:
Mansfield, Massachusetts Production Manager, Mansfield, MA, $115,000 - $125,000 (based on experience), Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 100% On-Site We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing operations of a complex FDA-regulated Class III medical device program at our clients Mansfield, MA facility. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity responsible for driving production performance, operational excellence, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives within a growing medical device manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in medical device manufacturing, complex electromechanical assembly, and lean manufacturing principles, along with a proven ability to lead teams in highly regulated environments.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall production leadership focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Lead manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer demand. Drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the facility. Partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution. Develop, mentor, and lead production personnel while building a high-performance culture. Monitor and improve key performance metrics related to productivity, quality, and delivery. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and company procedures. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and strategic OEM customers. Support manufacturing scalability for growing product demand and future business opportunities.
Desired Background/Skills:
10+ years of experience in complex electromechanical manufacturing environments. Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing, preferably 10+ years. Demonstrated experience working within FDA-regulated quality systems and
ISO 13485
environments. Proven success leading production teams and driving operational improvements. Electromechanical assembly experience Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Experience with Class II and/or Class III medical devices. Implantable medical device manufacturing experience. Cleanroom manufacturing experience. Advanced Lean Manufacturing expertise.
