Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Steel Plant Manager to oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading production teams, managing production planning and scheduling, and ensuring safety compliance. This role requires strong leadership skills, proficiency with production management systems, and the ability to utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. The Plant Manager will play a key role in optimizing operational efficiency while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise production teams to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes. Develop and implement production plans that meet quality standards, delivery schedules, and operational goals. Manage production management systems to monitor performance, track progress, and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate production scheduling to optimize resource utilization and meet customer demands. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Utilize Microsoft Excel and other tools to analyze data, prepare reports, and support decision-making processes. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and safety within the plant. Collaborate with other departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to ensure seamless operations. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or plant management roles. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively. Experience with production planning, scheduling, and management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Pay:
$62,400.00 - $78,000.00 per year
