Job Description
About the Role Precision Aerospace is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our HMPT Department across all four shifts. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the department consistently meets expectations for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) while developing strong, accountable teams. The Production Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will provide leadership and direction to Cell Leaders and production team members across all shifts. This individual will play an important role in driving operational performance, developing people, and advancing continuous improvement throughout the department. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production activities across all four HMPT shifts, including weekends. Lead, coach, and develop Cell Leaders and production team members. Drive performance against Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives. Establish and maintain accountability for production performance and departmental goals. Utilize data and statistical process control (SPC) to identify trends, address issues, and improve processes. Lead daily management and SQDC activities. Ensure compliance with standardized work, procedures, and production requirements. Drive continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives. Apply root-cause problem-solving techniques to resolve production and quality issues. Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to resolve issues and improve performance. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and employee engagement. Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Ensure consistent communication and execution of expectations across all four shifts.
