Overview The Production Manager is responsible for the operational performance, acting as the senior on-site production leader and standing in for the Plant Manager's leadership, coaching, and decision-making authority during hours the Plant Manager is not present. This role bridges shift-level execution with plant-wide objectives — directly developing and holding accountable the Production Supervisor(s) on shift, managing production, quality, safety, and labor cost performance in real time, and serving as the primary escalation point for off-shift operational issues, including 3rd shift, to ensure consistent management-level coverage across all hours of plant operation. Education & Experience 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or five years of management in a manufacturing environment. 2. Good oral and written communication skills. 3. Working knowledge of
IATF 16949
2016 and
ISO 14001
2015 is preferred. 4. Computer proficiency, including MS Office is preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities This position manages production supervisors on 2nd and 3rd shift, and is responsible for the performance management within those shifts.
