Job description Matrix Quality Services is a progressive organization specializing in Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics and Sorting. We are eager to welcome a new Manufacturing manager to our team where you will be a part of collaborative team where new ideas are valued. Matrix Quality Services is clean, well-lit and climate controlled providing a comfortable work environment to employees. Our Manufacturing Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of production and manufacturing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company's overall market share. Shift 7am-4:00pm Responsibilities Establish goals for production, and coordinate a plan to meet those goals Conduct inspections of work sites to monitor progress on projects or to identify areas for improvement Ensure that customer, statutory, standards, and internal requirements are met or exceeded Organize and maintain inventory and storage area Ensure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy Communicate with other departments, such as the financial department to establish budgets, HR department to hire new workers, or the logistics department to ensure the delivery of products Plan / determine optimal utilization of manufacturing workers and equipment to meet manufacturing goals Works closely with quality control personnel to review product consistency and appearance to produce products that meet or exceed company standards and consumer expectations Manage direct reports and their activities Management; training and development; analyzing and resolving work problems; and discipline Lead team to achieve goals; promote and demonstrate effective communication and positive culture, etc. Requirements Proven work experience as a manufacturing manager A license to operate a forklift. Proficiency in stock management and storage processes. A minimum of 1 year's experience leading a production team Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations Strong organizational and time management skills
